Foreign Tourists visiting Similipal will have to obtain prior permission from District Administration, Mayurbhanj, to visit Gurguria area within Jashipur Block in view of recent circular issued by Dept. of Tourism & Culture, Govt. of Odisha. :: Entry permit will be issued from 6.00 am to 9.00 am at Pithabata and Jashipur Entry points Only :: Only 20 vehicles from Pithabata and  40 vehicles from Jashipur will be allowed per day (first come first served) ::
Tourism Activities

Trekking route

  • The nature lovers/ eco-tourists will have an option for trekking from Brundaban to Chahala and back – 6 Km on walk in meadows and silently observe the serenity of Similipal
  • Similiarly tourists are allowed to trek from Uski village to Uski waterfall and back.
  • The trekking route from Sitakund to Machhkandna over 7 km long is available for tourists
  • For availing any of the above options, please Contact Deputy Director, Eco-Tourism, Jashipur  
Bird watching trips
  • Trips will be organized on demand from Gurguria/Jamuani/Jashipur/Pithabata
