Foreign Tourists visiting Similipal will have to obtain prior permission from District Administration, Mayurbhanj, to visit Gurguria area within Jashipur Block in view of recent circular issued by Dept. of Tourism & Culture, Govt. of Odisha. :: Entry permit will be issued from 6.00 am to 9.00 am at Pithabata and Jashipur Entry points Only :: Only 20 vehicles from Pithabata and  40 vehicles from Jashipur will be allowed per day (first come first served) ::

Similipal Biosphere Reserve is bountiful of multifarious biodiversity and there are several aspects of the Reserve yet to be diagnosed and enlightened.
